Zero has remained flat on Sunday with no growth over Friday. The film is on a downward spinal trend at the box office. The first weekend is a poor 55 crore at the box office since the film has been made on a humongous budget and it needed around at least 85-90 crore weekend at the box office. The Christmas Holidays will help the film put up some numbers on Monday and Tuesday but it will drop big time after the holidays
The film in all likelihood will stay below the collections Shah Rukh Khan's 2015 Christmas release Dilwale by a big margin. The struggle to reach the 100 crore number starts from Monday onwards. It has to collect as much as it can on Monday and Tuesday to cross that number.
The release period and star power have pulled the film to these numbers otherwise it would have been done and dusted on Friday itself at the box office. The film is another major disappointment of 2018 after Thugs of Hindostan and Race 3. In spite of releasing in most lucrative release period of the year, Zero will stay significantly lower than the numbers of Race 3 and Thugs of Hindostan
2018 will be remembered for a long time - All the 3 Khan films failed critically and commercially at the box office.
