The film had a below average first weekend at the box office and somehow survived on Monday and Tuesday owing to Christmas holidays. The film crashed on Wednesday and Thursday with poor collections. The first week collections are around 85 crore and this should have been the number for the first weekend because of the humongous budget and huge release size.

The collections are expected to drop further in the second week as the shows have come down alarmingly owing to bad word of mouth from the audience. The film will somehow scrape through to the 100 crore mark but it is a humongous disappointment at the box office. In terms of box office, it is the biggest disappointment of the year by a distance followed by Thugs of Hindostan.

Barring UP and Bihar circuits, the film has scored below par numbers across board. The film will be out of theaters after two weeks or so at the box office. Another major disappointment for Shah Rukh Khan after Jab Harry Met Sejal in terms of commercial as well as critical reception.

The total worldwide collections after the first week is around 155 crore and the film will fall well short of the 200 crore mark worldwide.

Below is the break down of day wise All India Collections
  • Friday - 19 crore
  • Saturday - 17.5 crore
  • Sunday - 18.5 crore
  • Monday - 9 crore
  • Tuesday - 12 crore
  • Wednesday - 4.75 crore
  • Thursday - 4 crore
Total (after first week) - 84.75 crore
