The film is set for a long run of couple of more weeks at the box office at least. The film is looking at a lifetime of 235-240 crore at the box office. The film has managed to score a second week of around 62 crores at the box office thereby dropping by just 60% from the huge first week at the box office.

The film has done extremely well in Mumbai, Gujarat etc whereas it is excellent in Delhi-UP, East Punjab, CP-Berar, Rajasthan etc. The single screens will see no competition for the film for the next couple of weeks though some screens will be taken by the upcoming releases Cheat India and Manikarnika but neither of them look like a challenger to Simmba in single screens.

The film is the second consecutive 200 crore Blockbuster for both Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh in a span of 1 year or so. For Ranveer Singh, both the films have come in the same year. The film might bring back the masala genre back to the fore as these kind of successes generally makes the industry very happy.
