The film is trending well in the weekdays of its second week too. The film is looking at 60 crore range second week at the box office. It will become the highest grosser of Rohit Shetty by the end of second week as it will beat Golmaal Again today and Chennai Express by tomorrow at the box office. The film is looking at a finish of around 235-240 crore range at the box office until and unless it trends exceptionally well in the third and fourth week at the box office.

After Padmaavat, this is the second Ranveer Singh film to enter 200 crore club at the box office. He is the only actor of new generation to have achieved this feat at the box office. Ranbir Kapoor has only one film - Sanju. The other actors have no such films. It also should be noted that all the three biggest grosser of 2018 are with the biggest directors of modern generation. So, it is not a one sided impact.

Having touched the 200 crore twice in 2018, the expectations from Ranveer Singh has multiplied both in terms of films and box office performance. It remains to be how he fares at the box office in the coming days. In all probability, he might have two releases in 2019 too but both of them are not outright commercial entertainers. With the amazing box office performance of 2018, it is difficult to rule these films out because audiences have now showed that if the content is engaging enough, numbers will eventually come at the box office.
