URI : The Surgical Strike 1st Weekend Box Office Collection is 35-36 crore. The Vicky Kaushal - Yami Gautam film has scored very well in its first weekend at the box office with good collections from the major circuits.

The Monday and Tuesday number will decide it is heading for a very long run or not. Owing to the partial holiday in parts of the country, the Monday number could come out to be big whereas the drop tomorrow will give the initial indication of the word of mouth of the film. The film has 10-11 days to score at the box office because Kangna Ranaut's Manikarnika will be the first major competition for the film.
The film has done quite well in Mumbai, Delhi and East Punjab territory and these should contribute well in long run too. The film has scored a very good opening weekend as it had scored a good opening day at the box office and then it followed it up by showcasing a superb growth on Saturday and it has consolidated the weekend with another decent growth on Sunday at the box office. The numbers are much better than the industry and trade expectations.
If the film trends well over the weekdays, it should emerge out to be the first HIT Film of 2019.
