Baaghi 2 crosses 150 Crore : Total 3rd Weekend Box Office Collection. Tiger Shroff has become the first actor of the new decade to cross the 150 crore mark at the box office with Baaghi 2.
Ranbir Kapoor debuted 11 years back so he is not being considered here. We are taking into consideration the actors who have debuted post 2010 i.e. current decade. Tiger Shroff beats Varun Dhawan to become the first actor to reach that mark. Varun Dhawan had come close to that mark with Judwaa 2.
The film is trending quite well at the box office despite being a massy action film as history has it that they are generally do well in the first weekend/week and then fizzle out. Baaghi 2 is targeting the 165 crore at the box office and that depends on its trend in the fourth week at the box office. After 17 days, the collection of the film stands at 155.65 crore.
The film is heading towards a 10.5-11 crore third week at the box office. The film will come close to the 160 crore mark by the end of third week at the box office. The film has not seen any competition at the mass belts or single screens for the last couple of weeks at the box office and that has helped its course at the box office. The film will not see competition for the next 10 days or so until the release of Avengers Infinity War and the film has to capitalize on that free run at the box office.
Owing to the extraordinary performance of Baaghi 2, the stakes of the future Tiger Shroff films have risen by a big margin at the box office. All his films going forward will highlight action in some way or the other. The next big film for Tiger Shroff would be the YRF’s action film with Hrithik Roshan which is slated to release in October 2019. That film has the potential to hit the 200 crore Club owing to the presence of Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff and the film being an action film.
