Badrinath Ki Dulhania 2nd Saturday (Day 9) Box Office Collections is 7.4 crore. The Second Sunday (10th Day) Collection takes the Second Weekend Business to 91.17 crore.
The film has scored around 17.5 crore in the second weekend which is around 60 % drop from the first weekend. The weekdays of the first week were extremely strong due to the Holi festivities especially on Monday and Tuesday. The weekdays of the second week has no such advantage so the drop is expected to more that the first week.
The second weekend of the film is around 60% more than the combined first weekend business of all the new Bollywood and Hollywood releases which clearly showcases the appreciation for the film. The upcoming week’s release Phillauri won’t affect Badrinath Ki Dulhania by a big margin until and unless it manages to carry a very good word of mouth from the target audience.
Badrinath Ki Dulhania is on course to become the first Super Hit film of 2017. The previous film too was a super hit film because of good collections, solid economics of the film. Varun Dhawan is a very sensible actor who is not over burdening the economics of his films by charging extra and it is great trait to have in today’s time.
