Padman Monday (Day 4) Box Office Collection is 6 crore. Pad Man 4th Day 1st Monday Collections takes the 4 days Total Collection to 46 crore. The Monday business shows a decent hold at the box office.
Padman has held on decently well on Monday. The collection of the film has dropped by around 40-45 % although the occupancy has dropped by around 15-20 % compared to Friday and that has happened because the ticket prices at major multiplexes have been reduced by around 30-35 % compared to Friday prices.
Tomorrow the film will get a partial holiday in the form of Maha shivratri and that should give a boost to the collections by some margin at the box office. The film should score a number higher than Monday figure as that would also give an indication about the acceptance from the family audiences.
Had it been a normal week, the film would have been heading towards a 60 crore first week but with the two holidays in the weekdays, it could push the film upwards of 65 crore and close to 70 crore but that growth has to come on these two days. If the film scores a number close to 70 crore, that will give the film enough chance of hitting the 100 crore mark in lifetime over the next couple of weeks. The second Friday is also extremely important for the film because competition will start creeping in from next week onwards as most of the releases in the next couple of weeks are multiplex dominated releases and they will impact Padman to a certain extent.
The Worldwide Gross of Pad Man after 4 days stands at 70-72 crore. It should hit the 100 crore mark by the end of first week or second Friday in worst case scenario. The Overseas numbers are decent but they could have much better given the release and the fact the Overseas audience is generally more welcoming towards these kind of content driven films.
