Shahid Kapoor - Kriti Sanon's TBMAUJ Day 1 Collection Early Estimates Indicate an Opening Day Business of around 7.02 crores which is decent and on the expected lines.
The Hindi Film industry is in desperate need of films like Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya to work at the box office as these sort of middle of the road rom-com films are easier to make and such films are extremely crucial for the overall sustainability of the indutsry.
TBMAUJ is better in Delhi NCR compared to the other areas but in isolation, Delhi NCR is also decent at best. The film needs good word of mouth from tomorrow onwards to make some impact at the box office.
TBMAUJ will need to come close to a double digit number tomorrow to have any chance of surviving at the box office as a big Saturday jump is a must for these kind of films.
Much like Fighter which released last week, TBMAUJ too has no competiton in its space at the box office for few weeks so if the film is able to generate even decent word of mouth, it can sail through at the box office.
