Maidaan has sold around 12K Tickets in PIC Chains and overall opening day ticket sales of around 39K for Hindi Version.

Maidaan has seen extremely poor advance booking for the opening day in National Chains and Non National Chains whereas it is horrible in single screens. The advance booking looks better for Paid Previews compared to first day.

Maidaan is releasing on Eid Holiday which had the possibility of boosting the numbers with huge walk-in audience but the lack of interest in the film is a major issue so it will need good word of mouth from the word go.

Maidaan will be targeting an opening day collection of 6-7 crores on the first day and around 2-2.5 crores from Paid Previews at the box office in India. It can go higher if the word of mouth is favorable enough.
