The first shooting schedule of Shahrukh Khan's next film King is scheduled to start in in the month of August with SRK and Suhana.
Suhana Khan is set to debut with this film and currently SRK is touted to appear in a full fledged role and the final script will be locked soon.
The makers of King have approached a Bollywood A Lister for the villain's role opposite Shah Rukh Khan but they are yet to get a confirmation.
Sidharth Anand is currently in talks with multiple Hollywood Action Directors for the film and the final names will be confirmed next month.
The film will be shot in Mumbai, and other foreign locations which will be revealed in due course of time. Sid Anand is currently doing the location scouting.
Sikandar will be directed by Kahaani fame Sujoy Ghosh whereas the action will be overseen by Sidharth Anand
The film will be jointly produced by Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment and Sidharth Anand, Mamta Anand under Marflix Pictures.
The complete cast of The King is expected to be locked soon and it will be announced by the next month.
King is expected to be a 2025 Theatrical Release. It will be SRK's immediate next film after Dunki which released on Christmas 2023.
