Prime Video India has officially greenlit the second season of Ananya Panday's comedy-drama series "Call Me Bae," with production scheduled to commence by late November 2025, according to industry sources.

The renewal comes following the show's successful debut in September 2024, positioning it among Prime Video India and Dharmatic Entertainment's top-performing original series. The first season introduced audiences to Bella 'Bae' Chowdhary, portrayed by Panday, chronicling her transformation from privileged heiress to determined journalist navigating Mumbai's competitive media landscape.

Production Details

Director Collin D'Cunha is expected to return for the sophomore season, maintaining creative continuity with the original vision. The core cast, including Gurfateh Pirzada, Vihaan Samat, Muskkan Jaferi, and Niharika Lyra Dutt, will reprise their roles.

Season one addressed contemporary social issues, including workplace harassment, while maintaining its characteristic comedic tone. The second installment will continue this approach, balancing entertainment with meaningful social commentary.

Release Timeline

While specific release dates remain unconfirmed, industry insiders suggest the series will premiere sometime in 2026.
