Synopsis - Sohini, the daughter of a famous painter, is married to Aditya, a stockbroker who falls deep into debt. As Aditya becomes consumed by work to recover his career, Sohini is left isolated. Her loneliness leads her to Subham, a struggling painter who idolizes her late father. They bond instantly over art, and Subham soon falls in love with Sohini. Initially, she rejects his advances to protect her marriage. However, Aditya's growing temper and emotional distance push Sohini into an affair with the passionate and artistic Subham, who embodies the spirit of her father. Aditya soon discovers the affair and tracks down Subham. Desperate for money, Subham agrees to Aditya's shocking offer: kill Sohini in exchange for a large sum and silence regarding Subham’s past secrets. Together, they murder Sohini, disposing of her body in a river, and vow never to see each other again. However, their crime quickly catches up to them. Both men begin to see the haunting image of Sohini everywhere—a constant reminder of their betrayal and murder. Sohini's spirit returns to announce a singular truth: those who betray and those who kill for the sake of ownership will be punished. She paints the dark nights with blood, seeking justice for a love tainted by treachery. The story raises the profound question: Can love ever grant the right to kill?
