A Special Tease of "TOXIC" for Yash Fans to be Unleashed Tomorrow - Yash is finally back, and the wait is basically over. The first official “Tease” of his next film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups, drops tomorrow, January 8, 2026 at 10:10 AM, and one cannot wait to see it.

This isn’t a regular trailer or teaser; the team is calling it a special “Tease” meant purely to set the vibe and hint at what might be Yash’s most experimental role so far. After the historic success of KGF: Chapter 2 in 2022, Yash went completely low-key, taking his time with pre-production and shoot, which only added to the mystery around Toxic.
The tagline, A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups, says a lot without spelling anything out. It hints at a dark, gritty, almost trippy action drama that doesn’t rely on typical masala formulas, yet still keeps that larger-than-life aura that made Yash a pan-India phenomenon.
Toxic is directed by Geetu Mohandas, known for bold, raw, internationally acclaimed storytelling in films like Moothon. Seeing a filmmaker with that kind of indie credibility team up with a mass superstar like Yash pretty much guarantees a high-concept, genre-bending experience rather than a safe, routine action film.
It’s a collaboration between KVN Productions and Yash’s own banner, Monster Mind Creations, and is being mounted on a huge budget with top international technicians handling the action and VFX to give it a truly global scale.
The makers have already kicked off promotions by dropping character posters of the film’s powerful female lineup, and it is stacked. Nayanthara comes in as Ganga, reportedly playing Yash’s sister, while Kiara Advani plays the main female lead, Nadia.
The cast doesn’t stop there. Tara Sutaria appears as the fierce Rebecca, Huma Qureshi takes on the primary antagonist role as Elizabeth, and Rukmini Vasanth joins as the poised Mellisa, with Akshay Oberoi and Sudev Nair also part of the ensemble.
The poster has also confirmed the release date: March 19, 2026. That instantly turns the film into a headline-grabber because it’s set to clash directly with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar part 2, which already has huge buzz after the first part is all set to become the highest-grossing Hindi Film of all time.
On the other side of that clash is Yash, who is back after KGF 2 did a record breaking number back in 2022, making Toxic a serious threat to any film releasing on the same date be it a film as big as Dhurandhar Part 2. So it will get really interesting if any of the two decide to back off but as things stand today, the clash is on.
All eyes are now on tomorrow’s Tease. Expectations are sky-high as fans of Yash cannot wait to see the first look of Yash’s new avatar and the stylized, twisted world Geetu Mohandas has crafted around him.
